Your cerebral spinal fluid moves up and in your spine and into your skull, in and around your brain and then, back down the spine every 3-6 seconds (or so), this is what is called your "cranial rhythm". This fluid moves within a membrane called the Dural tube. The fluid mixed with blood, enters in and around your brain to feed it vital nutrients and, as the fluid moves, so do the cranial bones that make up the skull. Where these bones meet are called, suture. These sutures contain small tiny blood vessels and collagen. They expand as the fluid moves in and around the brain then compress as the fluid moves back down the spine and sent off to all the other nerves within the body.
Craniosacral Therapy is greatly useful for its gentle yet profound approach, which aims to release restrictions in the craniosacral system, promoting relaxation, balancing the nervous system, and facilitating the body's natural healing mechanisms, resulting in improved overall health and well-being.
